The 2026 Ocean Leaders Fellowship, established by the Sustainable Ocean Alliance in collaboration with Dona Bertarelli Philanthropy, will select 40 outstanding young ocean leaders globally. Building on the success of its inaugural cohort, the program prepares emerging advocates to promote the 30×30 initiative.
Selected fellows will receive expert mentorship and participate in workshops focused on leadership, storytelling, advocacy, and ocean governance. Fellows will connect with peers and join a global alumni network. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend an international conference in June 2026.
The Fellowship aims to facilitate the practical application of acquired knowledge. Individuals aged 18 to 35 from all regions and backgrounds are eligible to apply until February 15, 2026.
