Dona Bertarelli Philanthropy is proud to support the second edition of La Tribune Bleue, a French-speaking public speaking competition focused on ocean issues, organised by the Deep Blue Foundation and held in the historic setting of the Sorbonne University in Paris.
La Tribune Bleue offers students the opportunity to reveal their talents through the artful use of words, presenting ideas and developing arguments about the ocean and our relationship with it, guided by expression, conviction, and clarity of thought.
Applications, requiring a 3min video developing on the theme of “Some doors to the sea are opened with words.” (R. Alberti), are open until 27 March and can be submitted via the Deep Blue Foundation website: https://deepbluefoundation.org/tribune-bleue/
The final event, open to the public, will take place on 25 April. On this occasion, participants will deliver their speeches before an expert jury, creating a moment of dialogue and visibility for emerging voices speaking on the theme of the ocean.
This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of the philanthropy and its founder to ensuring youth expression has a place within the wider ocean dialogue, and to recognizing public speaking as both an art and a powerful catalyst for a future engagement.
“La Tribune Bleue demonstrates that words can open dialogue, inspire reflection, and enable new voices to rise within the conversations that matter for the ocean.” – Dona Bertarelli.
